HSU was the prime contractor to renovate the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden’s third floor outer-ring galleries. This was a complete renovation and reinstallation of the galleries, featuring state-of-the-art, energy-efficient lighting, innovative specialty flooring and a restoration of the walls and ceiling to architect Gordon Bunshaft’s original spacious design.
The project was undertaken in conjunction with the museum’s 40th anniversary celebration and created a platform for the museum to efficiently and effectively display its works for years to come.
