HSU was the Prime Contractor on this Design-Bid-Build project for comprehensive repairs to the Building 62 exterior envelope of the Children’s Inn at NIH. The Children’s Inn is a residential place for families with children who are participating in leading-edge research studies with the National Institutes of Health.
The project included demolition, replacement of building exterior elements including: stone masonry, siding, windows, trim, and steep slope/flat commercial roofing, drywall, insulation, waterproofing, exterior grading, concrete walkways and walls, and metals/handrail work.
